Haiku Friday: Halloween

This morning Carrie and I took our boys to school and got to stay for the always fun Halloween parade with all of the kids in their costumes. Here are our two Imperial Stormtroopers, both of whom seemed pretty friendly to be serving the Dark Side:

Needless to say, this week’s theme for writing haiku is Halloween. It might be about candy or costumes or feeling really scared. So have fun creating one verse with five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line, and five syllables in the third line. Recall the anticipation of All Hallows Eve, and may the Force be with you!

Marching Stormtroopers
seem less intimidating
beside princesses.
